It is with a heavy heart and a full stomach that we announce the retirement of Peppers & Fries A-Go-Go, the beloved food truck that spiced up our lives and filled our bellies. After years of serving up the finest of gourmet burgers and crispy fries, Steve Frias has decided to hang up the apron and park the truck for good.
Peppers & Fries A-Go-Go was more than just a food truck; it was a culinary adventure on wheels. From its humble beginnings, it quickly became a local legend, known for its award-winning burgers and the occasional kitchen mishap that only added to its charm. Whether you were a fan of the Twin Cities Burger Battle winners the "Bangkok Burger" or the "PBJ Burger," there was something for everyone to love (and drool over).
Peppers & Fries A-Go-Go is survived by food truck friends and fans we met along the way. The Sizzling Wagon, Whiskey Creek BBQ, Original Hockey Mom Brownies, Ku•ma•in, Eggroll Queen, REBEL Lobster, Kabomelette Food Truck and 328 Grill and many more played special roles in Peppers’ journeys on the road.
As we bid farewell to this culinary icon, we can't help but smile at the memories and the many, many napkins used along the way. Peppers & Fries A-Go-Go may be gone, but its legacy will live on in our hearts and our taste buds. A special shout-out to my daughter, Marie Frias, who made so many extra runs out to the truck with supplies when we were short or forgot them!
In lieu of donations or flowers, please patronize your favorite food trucks and small independent businesses!
Final note: if anyone is interested in a turn-key, top-end food trailer and Ford F350 dually to pull it, call me (Steve) at 651-491-2634.
